1. Purpose
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the general approach CreativeWebPilot LLC may apply to cancellations, invoices and potential refund questions relating to professional and project-based services.
2. Project-based services
CreativeWebPilot LLC provides services that may involve planning, research, creative work, design, development, consultation and other professional effort. The scope and commercial terms for a specific engagement are established separately in a proposal, statement of work, invoice terms or other written project document.
3. Deposits and advance payments
Where a project requires an advance payment or deposit, the applicable written project terms explain the purpose of that payment and the circumstances in which it may or may not be refundable. Work already completed, reserved production time and third-party costs may affect the amount available for refund.
4. Cancellation requests
A client wishing to cancel a project should contact CreativeWebPilot LLC as soon as possible. CreativeWebPilot LLC will review the project stage, work already performed, commitments already made and the applicable project terms before confirming any financial adjustment.
5. Work already performed
Professional services, research, strategy, design, development or other work completed before a cancellation request may be chargeable even when a project does not proceed to final completion. Any unused portion of a prepaid amount is considered in accordance with the applicable project agreement and the actual status of the engagement.
6. Third-party costs
Costs paid or committed to third parties, including software, media, domain, hosting or other external services, may be subject to the separate terms of the relevant provider and may not be refundable by CreativeWebPilot LLC.
7. Service concerns
CreativeWebPilot LLC encourages clients to raise concerns promptly. Many issues can be addressed through clarification, correction, a revised deliverable or another practical solution consistent with the agreed scope.
8. No automatic refund entitlement
Submitting a request for a refund does not automatically establish an entitlement to a refund. Each request is assessed with reference to the relevant agreement, completed work, documented project stage and applicable legal requirements.
9. Contact
Questions regarding cancellation, invoices or potential refunds may be sent to hello@creativewebpilot.com with sufficient information to identify the relevant project.
